MWE Inc. recently launched our teen leadership program with a mission to mentor girls to be leaders in their personal lives and in their communities, overcome obstacles in their world, and win like girl bosses.  This program is called G.L.O.W. which means Girls, Leading, Overcoming, and Winning. This program launched in Jan 2019 and will focus on the 3 C's approach: Community, Connection, and Communication. Via these topics we will cultivate skills to building confidence to lead and speak, strengthen self-love to pay it forward, develop a sisterhood to connect to create change, and influence girls to accomplish their goals.

G.L.O.W girls will be committed to this program which will operate Sep - June. The operational period of the program will be filled with monthly workshops to facilitate our topics and girl empowerment plans, activities for girls to implement leadership skills, and opportunities for the girls to be recognized quarterly for their goals they'll accomplish.

Our team is dedicated to mentor young girls to be fierce leaders. We realize the challenges they face from low self-esteem, sexuality confusion, depression, social media comparisons, and relationship issues. The leadership skills our girls will inherit will better prepare them to combat these pressures and obstacles to be overcomers.

We are providing a program that will fight against these issues and also teen pregnancies and teen suicide which is at an all time high.  We are committed to doing our part in strengthening our girls and will partner with other girl programs to support their purpose in the community to create wholeness. When you know better you do better. We are G.L.O.W.

MENTORING TEEN GIRLS BY THE 3 C'S APPROACH

Community

This program will educate our girls about the power of community in efforts to volunteer and support the causes of non-profits in our community that can benefit from volunteerism. The girls will also earn community service hours for scholarship recognition.

Communication

Leaders are speakers. It is important for our teen leaders to learn to speak properly to inform and influence change, speak up not only for themselves however also for what is just, and be masters of their own journeys.
